When Bendu Catering Services was to launch, the main idea behind the mind of the owner, Bendu Wreh was to provide healthy and affordable dishes for all people across various ethnicity in every occasion around the Twin Cities and beyond.

Wreh who opened her catering business about a year ago submitted that her passion for cooking has been nursed for several years from as young as a teenager. “My passion for cooking and baking started as a young teenager and has remained a major part of my life since then,” she stated.

After registering her business with the state of Minnesota in addition to taking food manager training and license she opened her catering business in New Brighton to customers who trust and believe in her culinary skill.  

Wreh ethnic and continental dishes, in addition to pastries, such as, corn bread, cakes, pig in the blanket, and so on. The caterer identified one obstacle to stood in the way of starting her business. According to her, obtaining a food manager’s license through the appropriate channel was a challenge she had to overcome to make a cooking business become a reality.

For interested caterers or upcoming caterers, she advised by stating, “Never give up on your dreams or passion. Always aim higher.”
